These Terms of Service govern your use of the Caelavo website and your purchase of products or services from Caelavo.
Throughout these Terms, “Caelavo,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating under the Caelavo brand.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform through which we offer our products and services.
By accessing our website, creating a customer account, placing an order, starting a subscription or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms together with any policies referred to in them.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights that you have under applicable consumer law.
1. About Caelavo
Caelavo is an online water-wellness business selling products including the Caelavo Filtered Showerhead and replacement filter cartridges.

2. Eligibility to Purchase
By placing an order with Caelavo, you confirm that:
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
- the information you provide is accurate and complete; and
- you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
If you are purchasing on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
3. Products and Product Information
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible.
Product photographs, packaging and colours may appear slightly different depending on photography, lighting, screen settings or production variations.
Product specifications, filtration information, compatibility guidance, installation instructions and care information are provided based on the information and evidence available to Caelavo at the relevant time.
Where performance depends on factors such as water quality, household water pressure, shower configuration, temperature, usage or filter condition, individual results may vary.
The Caelavo Filtered Showerhead is a shower-filtration product. It is not a traditional water softener and is not intended to replace a whole-home water-softening system.
We may update product descriptions, specifications or guidance where new evidence, product improvements or operational information becomes available.
4. Compatibility
The Caelavo Filtered Showerhead is designed to replace a compatible removable handheld showerhead using an existing shower hose.
Shower systems, hoses and holders can vary.
Customers should review our Compatibility & Installation guidance before purchasing where they are uncertain about their setup.
If you are unsure whether Caelavo is suitable for your shower, you may contact us before ordering.
Compatibility information is provided to help customers make an informed decision but cannot account for every individual or unusual shower configuration.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the website are shown in the applicable currency for the market you are shopping in.
Applicable taxes will be included or calculated as required.
Any delivery charges or other applicable charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where required to correct an obvious pricing error and permitted by law.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment processing may be handled by Shopify or other authorised payment providers.
6. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products in your order.
After placing an order, you will normally receive an electronic confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including because:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment could not be authorised;
- the order is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- we cannot deliver to the address provided; or
- accepting the order would breach applicable law.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
7. Availability
All products are subject to availability.
We may limit quantities, pause sales or discontinue products where necessary.
Adding a product to your cart does not reserve inventory.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund or other available option.
8. Delivery
We currently deliver to the locations shown in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery information will be displayed where applicable before checkout.
Delivery dates and estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you need to change an address after ordering, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered fulfilment.

9. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Your rights to cancel or return an online purchase are governed by applicable consumer law together with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
For eligible online purchases, customers may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. Applicable legal rights may vary depending on the circumstances and customer location.

Nothing in these Terms or our policies limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.
10. Subscriptions
Caelavo may offer products through recurring subscription purchase options.
Where you select a subscription for the Caelavo Filtered Showerhead, the first order includes the showerhead with one pre-installed filter cartridge. Subsequent replacement filter cartridges are scheduled according to the subscription interval shown before purchase.
For the current Caelavo subscription, replacement filter cartridges are scheduled every 3 months.
By selecting a subscription, you authorise recurring charges to the payment method associated with your subscription in accordance with the terms presented before checkout.
Available subscription-management options may include skipping, pausing, cancelling or reactivating your subscription.
Cancelling a subscription stops future subscription renewals but may not cancel an order that has already been processed or entered fulfilment.

You should review the subscription terms displayed before completing a subscription purchase.
11. Filter Replacement and Consumable Products
Filter cartridges are consumable components designed to be replaced during normal use.
Caelavo recommends replacing the filter cartridge every 3 months at the latest. Depending on your water quality and the number of people using the shower, replacement may be required sooner.
Normal depletion or exhaustion of a consumable filter cartridge through use does not by itself constitute a product defect.

12. Product Care and Installation
Customers should follow the installation, replacement and care instructions provided with the product and on the Caelavo website.
Products should not be modified or used in a way that is inconsistent with their intended purpose.
Improper installation, modification, misuse or failure to follow reasonable care instructions may affect product performance and may be relevant when assessing a warranty or support request, subject always to your statutory rights.
13. Warranty and Consumer Rights
Any commercial guarantee offered by Caelavo is described separately in our Warranty Policy.
A Caelavo commercial guarantee is additional to, and does not replace or limit, statutory consumer rights.
If you believe a product is faulty or not in conformity with your contract, please contact us so that we can review the issue and provide the appropriate remedy.
14. Customer Accounts
Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for ensuring that your account information is accurate and that access to your email account and authentication methods remains secure.
You should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We may suspend or restrict account access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Caelavo or the security of the Services.
15. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Caelavo website or Services:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- to introduce malicious software or harmful code;
- to attempt unauthorised access to systems or customer information;
- to misuse website content or intellectual property; or
- in a way that infringes the rights of another person.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary in response to serious misuse.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Caelavo name, branding, logos, website design, copy, photographs, graphics and other original content made available through the Services are owned by or licensed to Caelavo and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from Caelavo content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
Certain features of the Services are provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, subscription-management services and other technology providers.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes certain information relating to your use of the Services in order to provide its ecommerce platform and related services.
Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled and permitted by applicable law, Shopify may also process information about your interactions with Caelavo together with information from your interactions with other merchants and with Shopify to provide enhanced services. These may include more personalised experiences, improved services, advertising and information about how customers interact with stores and advertising.
Information may be shared with Shopify and other service providers, including providers located in other countries, where necessary to provide these services. Further information about this processing and your available privacy choices is provided in our Privacy Policy.
Our website may also contain links to third-party websites or services.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Caelavo is not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, except to the extent required by applicable law.

19. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Caelavo website available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
We may temporarily restrict or suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical improvements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer-protection law.
Subject to applicable law, Caelavo is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If you purchase as a consumer, these Terms do not limit the remedies or protections available to you under mandatory consumer law.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, Services, business practices, technology or legal requirements.
Changes will be published on this website and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an existing consumer contract.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country in which you live.
Nothing in this section deprives you of protections or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
23. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
